Dirk Manuel Martens Jiménez founded Blue Mountain Capital with the vision of creating a family investment vehicle focused on sustainable value creation within the Spanish and European business landscape.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and direct investment, he has led restructuring, acquisition, and strategic development operations across multiple industrial sectors. His approach combines analytical rigor with a deep understanding of the operational dynamics that determine business success.
Elena Vázquez Rodríguez
Chief Financial Officer
Elena Vázquez brings over 18 years of experience in financial management and controlling in complex corporate environments. She has served as CFO in industrial and service companies, leading financial optimization processes, refinancing, and preparation for corporate transactions.
Her expertise encompasses debt structuring, treasury management, banking relationships, and regulatory compliance. She has participated in more than 30 M&A and refinancing operations.

Carlos Mendoza Ruiz

Carlos Mendoza has an extensive track record spanning over 22 years in operations management and business transformation. He has led operational improvement programs in industrial, logistics, and distribution sectors, achieving significant increases in efficiency and profitability.
His methodological approach and results orientation have been decisive in transforming companies in complex situations, implementing management systems and a culture of continuous improvement.

Isabel Fernández-Luna
Director of Corporate Development
Isabel Fernández-Luna leads origination, analysis, and structuring activities for new investment opportunities. With 15 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance, she has advised on transactions valued at over €2 billion.
Previously, she developed her career in the M&A departments of leading financial institutions, specializing in mid-market transactions and special situations.
